About the Book: Building Construction

The text book has been written to cover the syllabus according to new scheme prepared under auspices Curriculum Development Centre of Technical Teachers Training Institute, Chandigarh for Second Year Civil Diploma Course. 11 is hoped that this book will also prove useful to all the students preparing themselves in the subject of Building Construction for Degree Architectural Engg. and also for I.T.I. Examinations in different states throughout World.. The aim of bringing out this book is to enable the students fo have sound knowledge of the subject. Every effort has been made to present the subject matter in the most concise, compact and lucid manner to help the students to understand and prepare the subject without any difficulty-Frequent use of illustrative figures has been made for clarity. Questions for self examination have been given at the end of each chapter which will serve as a quick test for students.
