Dr Mohammad Inam Danish is one of the pioneers in the field of medical writing in Pakistan. In his second year of MBBS, he published a handbook on Physiology which was greatly appreciated by the students and the faculty alike. He further wrote on the subjects of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Pathology. After graduating from Sindh Medical College, Karachi in 1991, he published the first edition of Short Textbook of Medical Diagnosis & Management which is hugely popular. Dr Mohammad Inam Danish is presently working as a consultant for the Department of Cardiology at the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD). He is also working as a cardiologist at the Ibn-e-Seena Hospital Complex, Karachi.
